In 1997, the pioneer lo-fi folk band, "Wind and Rockets," played their last show in a small club just south of Gold Beach, Oregon. The show ended in tears as the band burned the original manuscripts, notes, and demos of all their music. All that remained was a notebook of unfinished songs that was mailed to an unknown address on the opposite side of the country.
Nearly a decade later, the notebook was found in an abandoned hardware store in Greeleyville, South Carolina.
